bethany mozley
Bethany felt God’s call to ministry with students while working at a summer camp during college, and in response, she changed her major to English Education. She graduated from the University of Georgia in 2005 with a B.S.Ed and has loved being around middle and high school students ever since! She taught high school English and ESOL in Gwinnett County for ten years and has also spent time with students through coaching, YoungLife, and church discipleship groups. While teaching, she met her fellow adventurer and best friend, Chad (also an English teacher), and they have been married since 2008. Bethany stayed home with her two precious children—Tallulah and Judah–for a few years before she began teaching again at SGA in 2019. As a family, their favorite place to be is out West on a summer-long camping trip or playing in the creek in their own neighborhood. In her free time, Bethany loves to run, cook, and watch the rain water her garden (because she always forgets to).
